Animal Dental Care

to provide anesthesia free dental cleaning for dogs and cats.

More about anesthesia free dental cleanings from Animal Dental Care's website...

More than 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats aged three years or older suffer from periodontal disease. Since our pets cannot brush their own teeth, they depend on pet owners and skilled veterinary dentists to keep their teeth clean and gums healthy.

Pet owners choose our practice because of our unique approach to dog and cat dental care. For over a decade, our team of highly skilled veterinary hygienists have provided animal dental care without need for risky anesthesia. Our patient and compassionate approach builds trust with each pet. We slowly introduce instruments and techniques so even the most anxious pets are relaxed and comfortable during treatment. We never force or bully a pet into submission. Everything is done with a loving, compassionate and gentle touch. Our non-anesthetic treatments also allow us to provide dental care for “high risk” pet patients, including older pets and those with chronic liver, kidney or heart disease.

How effective is a drug-free approach?

Our proprietary, 7-step professional cleaning is extremely effective for preventive care. Our dental hygienists are specially trained to gain trust through a gentle, compassionate touch. We help anxious pets relax and become comfortable with the cleaning process. An animal is never forced or bullied into submission. Instead, by slowly introducing tools and techniques, we build trust that allows our team to perform a thorough cleaning.

Not all animals are good candidates for anesthesia-free cleanings. Animals affected by stomatitis, oral tumors or gum disease may require anesthesia for treatment. If our animal dentist determines that anesthesia is necessary, we will immediately notify the veterinarian and pet owner.
