Joseph Liljenquist DVM

Dr. Joe the owner of Animal Medical Clinic grew up in Ogden, Utah the son of a veterinarian and the oldest of eight children. He attended BYU on a football scholarship, and got a brief tryout with the Houston Oilers. He did his veterinary training at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Dr. Joe worked at a large animal clinic in Palm Springs California for just over a year before coming to Animal Medical Clinic in 1978.

Over the years Dr. Joe has watched Animal Medical Clinic grow from a single doctor practice to a fast paced four doctor hospital. He and his wife, Celeste our office manager are the proud parents of seven children, ten grandchildren, and two dogs. Dr. Joe is a huge sports nut, loves fly fishing, cycling, and hunting for antiques.

Ben Brown DVM

Ben Brown DVM

            Dr. Brown grew up in Bountiful, Utah and attended Utah State University, majoring in bio-veterinary science, as an undergraduate. He pursued his veterinary education at Colorado State University and graduated in 2001. Dr. Brown began working at Animal Medical Clinic when he was 16 years old as a kennel attendant and technician. After graduating from veterinary school, he worked for 3 ½ years as a small animal practitioner in Southern California before moving back home to Utah in 2006. His professional interests include ultrasound, general surgery, and internal medicine.

           Dr. Brown and his wife, Mindy, share their home with their 2 dogs, Fiona and Little Dog. His hobbies include fly fishing, camping, hiking, and playing Playstation 3 and Wii.          

Amy Moon DVM

Amy Moon DVM

           Dr. Moon grew up in Granite City, Illinois and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia for both her undergraduate and veterinary medical education. She graduated in 2000 and moved to Utah where she was in general practice around the Salt Lake area. She joined the team at Animal Medical Clinic as a part-time associate in 2005. Her professional interests are internal medicine and dentistry.

          Dr. Moon, her husband, Nathan, and their children Ethan and Elizabeth share their home with 3 cats (Cindy, Jaxon, and Knowlton), 1 dog (Scarlett), a california king snake (Hissy), and a fish (Beta). When she isn’t chasing after her kids, she enjoys camping, hiking, going to the gym, and reading.

Jason Pozzuoli DVM

Jason Pozzuoli DVM

         Dr. Pozzuoli grew up in Bountiful, Utah and received his B.S. degree from Weber State University in Microbiology. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 2008. Dr. Pozzuoli began working at Animal Medical Clinic in 1997 as a kennel attendant and technician. He moved in 2004 to pursue is veterinary education and returned in 2008. He is interested in internal medicine, wound healing, and general surgery.

        Dr. Pozzuoli, his wife Lori, and their children Nickolas and Bella share their home with their dog, Ruby. In his free time, Dr. Pozzuoli enjoys fly fishing, fixing computers, playing Playstation 3, spending time with his family, being outdoors, and listening to music.
